| Spiny Oyster
This collage was inspired by my diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis. At that time, my hands felt like the spiny oyster shell images I layered on top of my painting. Hand update - they are much better now!

Thanks to a deadline at the Parklane Gallery, I actually managed to finish this collage even though I was in the middle of teaching. At the start of a new year, reflecting on my life, I felt very grateful for my partner, family, the beautiful part of the world that I live in and my health.
